How It Works

Reported Benefits
Repair of free radical damage
Counterbalances accumulated oxidative stress at the cellular level, the underlying driver of premature aging and cellular fatigue.
Improved energy production
Supports the mitochondrial activities responsible for converting nutrients and oxygen into usable cellular energy.
Better oxygen utilization
Clients report easier breathing patterns and more efficient use of the oxygen and nutrients already circulating in the body.
Faster recovery from exertion
Athletes and high performers report less post-training fatigue and a shorter window between hard efforts.
Balanced immune response
Supports the body's natural ability to regulate immune signaling during recovery, illness, and seasonal demand.
Support for healthy aging
Targets a root mechanism of biological aging: the gap between the repair signal you make and the repair signal you actually need.
Who It's For
For clients focused on slowing biological aging by reducing oxidative stress and supporting protein folding over time.
For clients training hard and recovering between sessions, where oxidative load and lactate clearance directly affect output.
For clients recovering from illness, surgery, or chronic load, where the body's repair signaling is working overtime.
For clients managing chronic stress, travel demands, and mental load, where oxidative stress quietly accumulates day over day.
What a Session Feels Like

Orientation & intake
A short conversation about your goals, current load, and where cellular repair fits in your protocol. We confirm there are no contraindications and walk you through what to expect.
Introductory Session
You sit comfortably and breathe through the nasal cannula for 30 minutes. There is nothing to do. Most clients read, work, or simply rest while the signal does its work.
Protocol building
We map NanoVi into the rest of your stack. It pairs especially well with BEMER, LightStim, BallancerPro, and CVAC for compounded cellular-level effect.
Sustainable protocol
Most clients run two to three sessions per week through an initial loading phase, then settle into a maintenance cadence aligned with their goals and training.

Studies & Research
Modality Research
Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences
Redox regulation of proteostasis under oxidative stress.
Reviews how oxidative stress disrupts protein folding and how cellular redox signaling regulates proteostasis. Establishes the mechanistic foundation that NanoVi's bio-identical signal addresses.
Modality Research
Ebner & Sons (Pollack)
The fourth phase of water: beyond solid, liquid, and vapor.
The foundational text on exclusion-zone (EZ) water, the structured-water science that informs NanoVi's signal-delivery mechanism. Establishes how water organizes around cellular surfaces in ways that carry biological information.
Modality Research
Free Radical Biology and Medicine
Reactive oxygen species in cellular signaling and repair.
The broader REDOX signaling literature explaining how reactive oxygen species function as both damaging agents and necessary signals in cellular repair. Foundational science underpinning the bio-identical signaling category.
Oxidative stress
The cellular wear-and-tear caused by reactive oxygen species. Accumulates with age, stress, illness, and high training loads, and underlies most chronic disease processes.
Protein folding
The biological process by which proteins fold into the precise shapes that make them functional. Misfolded proteins are a hallmark of cellular aging and neurodegeneration.
Bio-identical signaling
A signal molecularly indistinguishable from the one your body already produces. Restores capacity rather than overriding it, which is why the approach has no known contraindications.
Frequently Asked
NanoVi is a bio-identical signaling device, not an oxygen therapy. The air you breathe during a session is room air at the standard 21% oxygen. The therapeutic effect comes from a signal carried in humidified water vapor, not from elevated oxygen. Hyperbaric oxygen, in contrast, delivers concentrated oxygen under pressure. The two technologies operate through completely different mechanisms.
A standard NanoVi session at The Ascent Collaborative in Costa Mesa is 30 minutes. You sit comfortably and breathe normally through a nasal cannula. There is no exertion involved. Most clients use the time to read, work, or rest.
Most clients run two to three sessions per week during an initial loading phase, then settle into a maintenance cadence based on goals, training load, and how NanoVi sits in their broader protocol. Practitioners commonly stack it with BEMER, LightStim, BallancerPro, and CVAC for compounded effect.
NanoVi has no known contraindications. Because it restores a signal the body already makes rather than introducing a substance, the safety profile is exceptional. Breathing with the device is biomechanically identical to normal breathing. As with any wellness technology, we conduct an intake before your first session to confirm fit.
Most clients feel calm and clear-headed during the session and report a quiet sense of recovery afterward. NanoVi is not stimulating. There are no sensations to push through. The effect is cumulative, with most clients noticing meaningful change after several sessions stacked into a protocol.
No. Ozone therapy uses O3 to kill bacteria, viruses, and fungus, and is toxic in high doses. NanoVi delivers no active substance and is designed to enhance cellular activities, including the body's natural metabolism of oxygen. The two technologies are not comparable.
NanoVi as a branded device does not yet have independent peer-reviewed clinical trials. The foundational sciences it draws on, REDOX signaling, protein folding under oxidative stress, and exclusion-zone water research, are well-published in the broader literature. We treat NanoVi as evidence-informed and experience-tested: backed by foundational science and validated in our own protocol work since 2010.
The Ascent Collaborative operates two NanoVi Exo units at our Costa Mesa location at 150 Paularino Ave, Suite D-170. We serve clients across Orange County including Newport Beach, Irvine, Huntington Beach, and Laguna Beach.
